Celebrating the Earth

Since the first observance on April 22, 1970, Earth Day has become an annual event for people around the world to celebrate the Earth and renew their commitment to building a safer, healthier and cleaner world for all.

Every day is Earth Day on California's farms and ranches, as throughout the year these stewards of the land seek ways to protect the environment.
