KUSI to air California Bountiful television program

A fast-paced, entertaining television program showcasing the food, places, people and products that make the Golden State shine, California Bountiful, begins airing this week on KUSI, Cable 9/Channel 51 in San Diego. KUSI will air California Bountiful Saturdays at 11 a.m., beginning Jan. 7.
California Bountiful introduces viewers to the farmers, ranchers, packers, processors, marketers, restaurateurs and other people who bring food and farm products to consumers. The program includes regular features such as tips on produce selection, gardening and landscaping advice, cooking demonstrations and visits to rural travel destinations.
Produced by the California Farm Bureau Federation, sponsored by the Farm Bureau and Nationwide Insurance, and partially supported by a specialty crop block grant through the California Department of Food and Agriculture, California Bountiful airs on more than 30 affiliates in California and nationally on the RFD-TV satellite service.
California Bountiful is the latest Farm Bureau program, joining a family of regularly scheduled television shows on the air since 1964.
