Farm Bureau endorses Perkins for Assembly

The California Farm Bureau Federation's Board of Directors has endorsed Robert Perkins as Republican candidate in the 28th State Assembly District.
"Bob has been involved as a leader in Farm Bureau for many years. He understands the issues and challenges farmers and ranchers face on the Central Coast," said CFBF President Bill Pauli. "He knows that California needs to rebuild its business climate and promote job growth within a structure of limited government."
Perkins has served as Monterey County Farm Bureau executive director since 2001. Previously he served as executive manager of the Riverside County Farm Bureau 22 years.
The 28th Assembly District includes parts of four counties: parts of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey and all of San Benito.
The California Farm Bureau Federation bases its endorsements on candidates' orientation on agriculture and related issues.
