Plan now to join more than 200 of California’s up and coming young leaders in agriculture at the 2010 CFBF YF&R Leadership Conference in Sonoma County March 12-14, 2010.

The conference, to be held at the Doubletree Hotel Sonoma Wine Country, features a variety of continuing education and networking opportunities for agricultural professionals between the ages of 18 and 35, all within the plush setting of some of California’s best wine country. The agenda features agricultural tours of Sonoma County on Friday, March 12, followed by a kick-off BBQ dinner hosted by the Sonoma YF&R Committee and Dutton Ranch.

Saturday, March 13 offers participants a selection of six different workshops with topics including working with the media, advocacy, on-farm security, key political issues and much more. Keynote speakers Troy and Stacy Hadrick, Advocates for Agriculture, will motivate attendees to spread the positive story of agriculture, and will delve into what it means to be "Farming Beyond Your Field" as they share their amazing tale of dealing with the modern consumer and media. Attendees are sure to be amused when a dairy-boy turned comedy entertainment phenomenon takes the stage. Damian Mason has always stayed close to his agriculture roots and we welcome him to California for the weekend’s second keynote address, as he presents "Humor for the Heart of Agriculture" during the lunch session.
