Young Farmers & Ranchers: Leadership Conference Achievement Award Excellence in Agriculture Award Discussion Meet Committee of the Year Spotlight Meet Your YF&Rs Calendar of Events YF&R Gives Back Request Information

This award recognizes YF&R Committees that are active in promoting Farm Bureau, and continually working to support the goals and policies of both the county and state organization.

In 2011 Stanislaus County YF&R took on a fresh approach to membership and stepped up their outreach to Modesto Junior College to promote the Collegiate Farm Bureau membership. They partnered with MJC to host a breakout session at the California Farm Bureau Federation Annual Meeting and currently have five YF&R members serving on the County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. In addition, at their most successful event of the year, the 5th Annual Summer Luau, the group hosted over 200 guests and raised over $7,500 to fund leadership activities and a MJC Scholarship.
