Funding for Napa County Farmworker Housing Advances

Assembly Bill 1890 by Assemblywoman Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, D-Winters, mandates state matching grants to help fund the Napa County Housing Authority’s Farmworker Centers, which have for decades been operated through grower self-taxation. AB 1890 advanced from the Housing and Community Development Committee on March 25. California Farm Bureau supports the bill.
