California Farm Bureau President Jamie Johannson said, “This is a good day for all rural Californians, including farmers and ranchers' employees, community members and supporting businesses who are the backbone of rural communities. There is no substitute for real-world experience, and Robert Rivas will bring that to the speaker's office and the rest of his caucus members."
The California Farm Bureau works to protect family farms and ranches on behalf of nearly 29,000 members statewide and as part of a nationwide network of 5.3 million Farm Bureau members.
